Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Operator for our Audubon, PA location.

The Production Operator will perform assigned functions at Almac Pharma Services related to the packaging area, ensuring product quality for patient safety and well-being. The employee will work within Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product) and Primary Packaging Rooms (exposed product) as required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Set-up, operate, shut down, and clean all production equipment in accordance with cGMP standards and Almac SOPs.
  2. Complete all documentation accurately as per SOPs.
  3. Perform roll changes, clear jams, and troubleshoot equipment minor issues.
  4. Ensure only validated equipment is used for production.
  5. Maintain and complete log books per SOPs.
  6. Ensure equipment setup and operation align with design layouts and batch documentation.
  7. Report equipment inefficiencies to the production mechanic.
  8. Work in contained processing operations as required.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of machine/mechanical or related experience
  • At least two years of operations or related experience
  • Experience with processing or mechanical equipment
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Mechanical/Electrical degree or training
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or similar GMP environment
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical processing equipment in GMP settings
