Production Operator - 2nd Shift (Finance)

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Mon-Fri

Pay: $26.75/hour + $1 Shift Differential

Role Focus: Production Operator

Join our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team as a Production Operator, where you'll perform front-line production processes that add value and ensure quality of our final products. Gain skills in operating machinery, packaging, and transforming raw materials into high-quality products for our customers. This role supports our Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers and animal owners across the U.S. We develop nutritional products and practices to maximize animal health and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comply with all safety protocols and promote safety practices among team members.
2. Be punctual, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
3. Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet production demands.
4. Follow all quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
6. Collaborate with team leads and management to complete daily tasks.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in any industry.
3. Basic computer literacy and math skills.
4. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
5. Willingness to learn new skills, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with respectfulness.

Preferred Experience:

1. Over 1 year of manufacturing experience.
2. Experience operating machinery and/or forklifts.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
2. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting.
3. Work while wearing personal protective equipment.
4. Work in temperature zones that may be hot, cold, dusty, or chemical-laden.
