Shift Details

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-12:30pm

Pay

$29.25/hour + $1 Shift Differential
Additional pay for skills program

Job Summary

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, supporting our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers, and large retailers across the U.S. We innovate nutrition products and practices to help animals reach their full potential for a healthier, more productive life.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including mixing, pellet mills, grinding, and processing equipment.
• Manufacture products according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, discard or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate production records and examine materials for processing.
• Operate all equipment and processes, monitor machine parameters, and troubleshoot issues.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Critical thinking, safety consciousness, time management, coordination, active learning, and active listening skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
• Work while wearing PPE and in temperature-variable environments.
• Shift work including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
