Job description

Position: Production Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Goshen, IN

Remote Status: On-Site

Job Id: 2019

# of Openings: 12

Pay Rate: $18.76/Hour plus an additional $1.50/Hour shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operates work station to assemble components according to manufacturing systems, processes, and build specifications.
  2. Performs repetitive operations such as loading and unloading component parts and assemblies into process modules.
  3. Maintains efficiency standards and ensures consistency with process sheets to meet production output.
  4. Performs visual and gauged inspections to ensure quality and proper assembly as per work instructions; work is subject to process and final inspection.
  5. Keeps non-conforming material in designated areas and follows procedures for assembly.
  6. Ensures work areas and equipment are cleaned daily according to preventative maintenance schedules and free of safety hazards.
  7. Follows safety guidelines, reports safety concerns immediately, and operates stations only after full training.
  8. Supports all activities assigned by the supervisor.

Bonus: Up to 5% of gross earnings based on plant performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

Physical Demands

Regular walking, manual handling, reaching, talking, hearing, standing, and lifting up to 5 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Extended standing required. Accommodations available for disabilities.
