Position Overview

The Production Operator I reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor. The job holder is responsible for operating equipment and all related processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labeling), in compliance with legal and company rules. Proficiency in English is required.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of raw materials and packaging: identifying & preparing the right quantities, transporting to the appropriate production area, reporting deviations, noting start and finish of processes.
  2. Operating processing equipment according to process instructions and procedures.
  3. Monitoring equipment to maintain desired run rates.
  4. Completing initial testing and product release to ensure specifications are met.
  5. Checking labels & packaging materials, ensuring correct labeling following rules and instructions.
  6. Packaging final products following instructions and quality standards.
  7. Ensuring all operations comply with Quality Standards, Operating Procedures, and legal and company EHS rules.
  8. Maintaining housekeeping in assigned areas.
  9. Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. No prior experience required.
  3. Knowledge of MS Office or similar software.
  4. Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  5. Availability to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Preferred Requirements
  1. One year of experience in an industrial environment.
Physical Environment
  • Stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, lift boxes, reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Work in a normal chemical environment with typical noise, dust, and smells.

Salary is $20/hr, based on factors like education, experience, certifications, and location. Benefits include health & wellness, 401K, paid time off, and holidays. H.B.
