Position Summary

The Production Operator performs manual, semi-automated, or automated tasks for manufacturing sub-assemblies and final products. Responsibilities include maintaining productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and safety, operating under minimal supervision, and ensuring company policies are followed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow manufacturing procedures and document product traceability.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Meet production standards.
  • Complete assembly tasks such as gluing, heat-shrinking, and resistance welding.
  • Support research and development as needed.
  • Perform press setups as required.
  • Read and follow SOPs and procedures.
  • Support start-up and shut-down processes.
  • Provide temporary support to other teams if needed.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Good vision (corrected or uncorrected).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Meet deadlines and priorities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with microscopes or reticles.
  • Experience in thermoplastic or silicone molding and inspection.
  • Clean room manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards.

Work Environment

Indoor facilities with controlled temperature, chemical use, and generally minor noise levels. Accommodations available for disabilities.

Physical & Cognitive Demands

Requires physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and using equipment; visual and auditory attention; and interaction with others. Movement may be in tight spaces or on uneven surfaces.
