Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a production operator to operate and maintain coating, finishing, and related equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Phoenix, AZ.

You will load/unload parts, monitor quality, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures while communicating effectively with the team. OT and weekend availability may be required; a high school diploma is expected, and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing/warehouse experience
  • Ability to read, interpret and communicate work instructions and specifications
  • Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to sit/stand/bend/twist/lift +25 lbs for extended periods
  • Overtime work including weekends may be required

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production equipment including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, maskers, and brazing stations.
  • Load and unload parts and materials from equipment.
  • Monitor and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

As a key member of our manufacturing process, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

In this role, you will:
  • Operate and maintain various production equipment, including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, maskers, and brazing stations. Prepare and mix materials according to specifications.
  • Load and unload parts and materials from equipment.
  • Monitor and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Year of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions and specifications
  • Ability to sit/stand/bend/twist/lift +25lbs for periods of 8-hours, or longer
  • Ability to work OT when necessary, including weekends
  • Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
Education

High School diploma or equivalent

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
