What You'll Do

1. Interpret work orders and instructions to set-up and operate equipment.
2. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety regulations.
3. Perform transactions and data entry at computer workstations.
4. Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts to transport materials.
5. Unload and load trucks or railcars using overhead cranes.

What You'll Need

1. Ability to set-up, operate, monitor, and adjust shop equipment (furnaces, saws, shot blast, etc.).
2. Ability to follow schedules, work orders, and instructions.
3. Ability to perform material handling and hardness tests.
4. Ability to measure with tape measures, calipers, etc.

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
