Agri-Mark is seeking a Production Operator at our Cabot Creamery Manufacturing Plant in Cabot, VT. You will help produce cheddar and other dairy products, operating production and packaging equipment and supporting a safe, efficient operation.

Opportunities exist on 1st and 3rd shifts with competitive benefits, paid training, and room to grow. Training is provided to build skills across departments and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, food production, dairy processing, warehouse work, machine operation, packaging, farming, construction, or general labor is helpful, but not required.
• Training is provided.

Current Openings

We currently have Production Operator openings on both 1st and 3rd shift . Exact start and end times vary by department:

• 1st Shift: Start times between 8:00-9:00 a.m., with 8-10 hour shifts
• 3rd Shift: Start times between 10:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m., with 8-10 hour shifts
• Weekend work may be required depending on department and production needs

Additional Pay:

• Hours worked between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. receive a 10% shift differential plus an additional $2.00/hour supplemental pay
• Hours worked between Friday at 11:00 p.m. and Sunday at 11:00 p.m. receive an additional $3.00/hour weekend supplemental pay
• The $3.00/hour weekend premium applies to both 1st and 3rd shift
• Eligible premiums may be stacked

What You'll Do

As a Production Operator, you'll work as part of our manufacturing team to make and package the dairy products Cabot is known for. Depending on your department, you may:

• Operate production and packaging equipment
• Make and package cheese and other dairy products
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
• Work with your team to keep production running safely and efficiently

Experience in manufacturing, food production, dairy processing, warehouse work, machine operation, packaging, farming, construction, or general labor is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. Depending on the department, the job may require:

• Regularly lifting up to 60 pounds
• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and walking
• Working in hot or cold manufacturing environments
