Role Details

This position is on D Shift, 12-hour night shifts, rotating schedule.

Job Description Summary

Perform operational tasks to maintain product quality and production levels, working as part of a team. Responsibilities include product inspection, equipment operation, material movement, cleaning, and sanitizing. Monitor machinery to detect and address any issues, ensuring compliance with quality systems, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedules.
• Clean machines and work area.
• Produce, inspect, and package products.
• Operate equipment and process functions.
• Conduct inspections and process tests.
• Complete all required paperwork promptly.
• Respond to and reset alarms as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to sustain a safe and productive environment.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Maintain certification on assigned equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Maintain punctual attendance.
• Remain alert and focused in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Apply embecta standards to ensure product quality and compliance.

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of troubleshooting and diagnosing manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or vocational/technical school diploma.
