Job Description
Primary Purpose: Perform varied production tasks under the regular direction of the Shift Supervisor, including but not limited to observation of automated machines, staging raw materials and finished products, responding to machine faults, completing lot production records, and maintaining a clean workspace for the production of various medical device products in a temperature and cleanliness-controlled environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Observe automated machine operation to respond to tote changes, system faults, and lot completion/changeovers.
- Stage and replenish raw materials and exchange product totes to enable continuous operation of automated machines.
- Accurately and legibly complete production records including raw material information, machine settings, and product labeling per outlined procedures.
- Perform periodic visual checks on products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance.
- Report issues with products, raw materials, or production cells to senior operators, shift leads, technicians, and/or the Production Supervisor promptly to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are maintained.
- Provide machine support for fellow coworkers during breaks and as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
- Work alongside team members in an automated environment, assisting in guiding new team members to understand work assignments and methods.
- Maintain a clean workstation area throughout the shift and ensure a clean work area at the end of each shift.
- Participate in all required training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned temporarily or permanently based on production needs.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to be trained and follow procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills for constructive communication with team members and management.
- Ability to work well in a team and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs. (e.g., reels and totes).
- Push/Pull force of 10-25 lbs. (e.g., carts and pallets).
- Postures and movements including sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, and finger manipulation.
- Use of equipment/tools such as tweezers, totes, carts, pallets, jacks, and shears.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced operational environment with interaction among operators, technicians, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices within the Medical Industry.
