Johns Manville is seeking a Production Operator for the Plattsburgh, NY facility on the night shift (5pm–5am, Mon–Thu). Base rate is $24.47/hour with a $3 differential for 5pm–5am shifts.

Responsibilities include forklift operation (certification provided after hire), quality testing, machine changeovers, and routine maintenance. Must pass drug screen and background check, able to lift 50 lbs, and work in a dusty, temperature-variable environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift once certified (certification provided after hire).
• Perform quality tests according to visual acceptance standards.
• Assist in machine changeovers between product lines.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks (cleaning, safety inspections, lubrication, testing).
• Adjust machine settings to ensure high-quality output.
