Job summary

Johns Manville Scottsboro, AL site is seeking a production Operator to support the core team in a 12-hour night shift. The role requires passing safety procedures, basic math, and operating control equipment. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

You will work in a fast-paced environment producing reinforced TPO roof membrane components, with room for advancement and comprehensive benefits. The position offers a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow Johns Manville safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Operate overhead crane for handling rolls and prepare pallets per specs.
• Label finished goods and ensure proper labeling; complete Get Data trainings.
• Complete training sign-offs at packaging stations and other listed tasks.
• Incumbent must be physically able to perform essential job functions.

The Operator works cross-functionally and is a part of the Pay-For-Skills program. The Pay-For-Skills program builds on the Operator with pay increases which means ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. The hourly rate of pay is $23.08, and the position is 12-hour shifts on night shift. There is a $2.00 shift differential for the night shift. The facility is one of the top performers in the division supplying material all over the United States which translates to JOB SECURITY.
