Qualifications

  • Ability to read, interpret charts, graphs, and manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Vancouver and corporate safety rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare for packaging activities and operate packaging equipment per SOPs, GMPs, ISO/FSSC/HACCP and safety guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain the plant, grounds and equipment.
  • Document data for process operation, testing, cleaning and sanitation.
  • Restock supplies, operate forklift and pallet jack, load/unload trucks, recycle product.
  • Adhere to quality systems, safety policies and SDS; support process knowledge growth.
  • Assist with duties and responsibilities as directed by leadership.

Position Summary

Fulfill the daily production demands of a Vancouver manufacturing facility as indicated by either the production schedule and/or leadership.

Essential Functions
  • Comply with all Vancouver and corporate safety rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Prep for packaging activities, operate packaging equipment in compliance with SOPS, GMPs, ISO/FSSC/HACCP and safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Clean up and maintain plant, plant grounds and equipment.
  • Document all required data for process operation, testing, cleaning and sanitation activities (manually and electronically).
  • Restock supplies, operate forklift and pallet jack, load/unload delivery trucks, recycle product and prepare product.
  • Understand and comply with all production quality system SOPs and documents, safety policies and SDS.
  • Work with operation team to increase knowledge of process and equipment operation and to assume more Operator II responsibilities and duties as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and a minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a forklift operators permit.
  • Must have a strong work ethic; be detail oriented; be able to rely on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Demonstrable mechanical ability and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret charts, graphs, documents, manuals, etc.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Position may require walking and standing for long periods; reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to handle materials.
  • Position requires frequent moving of approximately 50 pounds.
  • Working in a non‑HVAC building, exposure to seasonal and operational impacted temperatures.
