Job summary

USG is seeking a Production Operator to operate and troubleshoot production equipment, record data, and support maintenance and safety initiatives. The role requires adherence to safety rules and flexibility for rotating shifts, including potential overtime and weekend work.

• Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
• Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency at taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.
• Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
• Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Additional Information

• Shift: Rotating shift, 8 hours, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am.
• Department: #3 Board, Loading
• Pay Rate/Range: $27.50/hr.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
