Job summary

CompleteStaff is seeking a press/laser machine operator to run stamping presses (95–1000 ton) and 5-axis laser cutting equipment. You will load, align, and secure metal material, inspect parts for quality, and tag finished parts for proper routing.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate part and scrap counts and recording data at shift end. This role focuses on producing high-quality parts to meet demand in a manufacturing environment.

Job description

The press/laser machine operator is responsible for operating both mechanical and hydraulic stamping press
equipment (ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton) as well as operating 5-axis laser cutting equipment (both oxygen and
fiber optic) to produce high-quality parts and meet demand.

Load and unload metal material into press or laser bed
Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift
