Johns Manville is seeking a Production C Operator to support spinbond line operations. You will operate lift trucks, handle winders, and ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining a clean work area and observing all safety rules.

The base hourly rate for this position is $26.08.
Shift are 12 hour shifts 7:00 - 7:00 4 days on/4 days off 4 rotations days/4 rotations nights
A Production C Operator assists the team as needed in the safe and efficient operation of the spunbond lines. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the lift trucks, doffing the winders, wrapping the material, transporting the finished rolls to lag area, and keeping a clean and orderly work area at all times to meet and exceed production goals.
Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.
Physical Skills: The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
Competencies:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold and heat; risk or electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
