Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is hiring for a hands-on role in Texas, supporting warehouse and fabrication operations. You will operate tools, assemble orders, count inventory, and help unload/load shipments while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates. Day 1 benefits, competitive pay, and growth opportunities are provided by CMC.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Great organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, such as Power Washer, Grinder, Air Hammer.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or in shipping areas.
• Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Inspect outgoing material for accuracy.
• Sort, stack, repair, clean, pack, remove, and dispose of materials as directed.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean at all times.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities (pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling).
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.

• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
