Looking to build a career in manufacturing with a company that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork? Our Rockdale, IL-based ink manufacturing facility is currently seeking a dependable Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining filter press equipment, preparing packaging, and ensuring clean, safe production processes. If you’re a hands-on worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in quality work, we want to hear from you.

Location: Rockdale, IL

Schedule: 7AM-5PM or 5PM-3AM

Pay rate: $18/hour

Duties:

1. Operate and maintain filter press equipment, including hydraulic ram and cleaning systems.
2. Prepare and seal product packaging to ensure quality and prevent contamination.
3. Clean filter plates, discharge chutes, and replace filter cloths as needed.
4. Use high-pressure washer to remove build-up and maintain a safe, efficient work area.

Requirements:

1. Must pass a background check, employment verification, and education verification.
2. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Reliable work ethic with attention to safety and detail in a manufacturing setting.
