Production Operator

3rd shift

Starting hourly rate: $24.60

Job Responsibilities:

• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform quality checks and record results.
• Change settings on equipment during changeovers.
• Record all production data into the MDIS system.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow safety rules.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Computer skills for data entry and reporting, including quality data documentation and comments related to production/loading operations.
• Recognize measurements outside specified ranges; read measuring devices such as tape measures (down to 1/32") and micrometers (down to 0.001").
• Follow instructions on work orders to complete tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.
• Learn to operate plant equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Use common hand tools properly.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Identify unsafe conditions and cooperate on safety, quality, and production tasks.
• Learn procedures and retain information for ongoing use.
• Monitor product specifications online and make process adjustments as needed.
• Be trained and certified to operate a forklift safely.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
