Job Summary
We are seeking responsible and motivated individuals to join our team as Production Operators at our Arizona manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining quality standards in our electrode and cell assembly production processes. The role is critical to ensuring the production of safe, reliable, and high-performance batteries.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all safety rules and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished electrodes or assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Accurately record production data, equipment readings, and quality checks in designated systems/logs.
- Identify, report, and help troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues.
- Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jack, etc.) to transfer raw materials and semi-finished products.
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines and work areas to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Collaborate with team members, team leads, supervision and engineers to meet daily production goals.
- Escalate safety, quality, or equipment issues to team leads promptly.
- Support continuous improvement activities by providing feedback on processes and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Experience in large- or small-scale manufacturing in a production role, operating automated or semi-automated equipment, a plus.
- Familiarity with operating automated production equipment or control systems such as Human Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers, a plus.
- Experience in powder handling, chemical batch processing, mixing, roll winding, and material conveyance, a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing environment (noise, heat, PPE use).

- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Basic math, computer, and data entry skills
- Ability to work well with other individuals and as part of a team to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations.
