Job summary

IDE Group is seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our U.S. manufacturing team and help build high-quality medical device products.

You will work alongside skilled Operators, Manufacturing Engineers, and a Supervisor to assemble devices, maintain quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will grow your skills through required training, maintain a clean, safe work area, and document work clearly to ensure traceability and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical background required.
  • Ambition and genuine desire to learn the business from the ground up.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and report writing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products with hands-on manual work with accuracy and pride.
  • Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and records for audit readiness.

About the role

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Production Operator to join our U.S. manufacturing team and help build high-quality medical device products. You'll work alongside experienced Production Operators, Manufacturing Engineers, and your Production Supervisor to assemble products, maintain quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll do

  • Building products with your hands completing manual assembly work with skill, accuracy, and pride in the finished product
  • Following the process, then improving it reading and applying standard operating procedures and work instructions to keep quality and consistency high
  • Keeping the paperwork tight documenting your work accurately, because good records are what keep medical devices safe and IDE audit ready
  • Showing up for the small stuff keeping your work area clean and professional, pitching in on the tasks that keep the floor running smoothly, and taking pride in the details.
  • Communicating like a pro reporting progress, flagging issues early, and building trusted relationships with your team and supervisor
  • Growing your skillset completing all required training and actively developing the capabilities you'll need to take the next step in your career

About you

What You Bring

  • An Associate degree or Technical background in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Ambition and a genuine desire to learn the business from the ground up.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with report writing. Strong attention to detail and good documentation habits.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus (especially in medical devices), but not essential we'll teach you the rest.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus.
  • Solid communication skills and a team-first mindset.
