Job summary

Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a union production operator to operate all production equipment in line with process specifications while safeguarding safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires flexibility for 8- or 12-hour shifts, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, forklift experience, strong teamwork and basic computer skills; prior equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HSDiploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with industrial equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in high temperatures; climb, stand, bend and reach overhead.
• Flexibility to work 8- or 12-hour shifts.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills required.
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a union manufacturing production operator position. The Production Operator will be responsible for operating all production equipment in accordance with the specific process while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency goals are met.

• This position requires flexibility to work 8 or 12-hour shift.
• Candidates must have good communication skills exhibiting the ability to interact with others, as well as basic computer skills.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Consistent, proper use of personal protective equipment is required.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Requires ability to lift/move up to 50-pounds, climb, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach overhead and work in high temperatures.
