Job summary

Continental is seeking production associates in Nebraska who will follow safety procedures, operate equipment, and maintain quality standards on a 12-hour rotating schedule. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements while working nights and weekends as scheduled.

Starting wages are posted per hour with tiered increases for night and weekend shifts; relocation sponsorship is not offered, and U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work every other weekend on a 12-hour rotating shift (days to nights).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship.
• Relocation expenses are not provided for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies, maintain certifications, and follow plant safety procedures.
• Maintain consistent and on-time attendance.
• Operate production equipment and follow quality procedures.
• Read hose specifications and use measuring tools as required (micrometers, calipers, testing equipment).
• Record and maintain production data per specifications and quality policies.
• Assist in maintenance of tooling and equipment.
• Identify and solve production problems to improve process and product flow.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Participate in team meetings and activities; work well in a team.

• Demonstrate awareness and concern for the safety of self and others thru adherence of safety policies and procedures and maintaining certifications for plant safety
• Maintain consistent and on time attendance
• Operate production equipment and adhere to quality procedures
• Use/read hose specification & measuring equipment as required (micrometers, calipers and testing equipment)
• Record and maintain production data in accordance with specifications and quality policies.
• Assist in maintenance of tooling and equipment
• Attention to detail, meeting and/or exceed quality standards in work
• Identify and solve production problems to improve process and product flow
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
• Actively participate in team meetings and activities
• Value teamwork and demonstrate skills necessary to be an effective team member

• Required to learn and maintain multiple job certifications and perform a variety of tasks

• Qualifying applicants will be required to successfully pass a phone interview, interview and additional pre-hire checks before hire.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• Safety is our highest priority with an expectation that safety procedures/guidelines/policies are adhered to inclusive of safety wear such as safety glasses, safety shoes and ear plus
• Work Schedule:12-hour rotating schedule. In a 28 day period of time there are 14 working days and 14 days off.
• Starting Wage Per Hour:
  • $22.85
  • $23.93 when working nights 6pm to 6am & weekends 6am to 6pm
  • $25.01 when working weekends nights 6pm to 6am
