Carlex Glass America, LLC in Indiana is hiring for manufacturing roles requiring adherence to work instructions and quality checks. You will assist during changeovers and input data into the Quality System while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following safety procedures.

Designation involves 8-hour shifts with days or nights, potential overtime, and a strong emphasis on attendance, reliability, and teamwork to keep production running smoothly.

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday.
• Willing to work days or nights and overtime.
• Frequent lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

KEY TASKS

• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
• Assist with other key tasks during changeovers.
• Do quality checks and input data into the Quality System to keep the process nominal, input GMaP’s data when required
• Maintain an organized clean work environment 5S
• Understanding trends on reliability and yield.
• Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision.
• Understands required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment keeping the process running
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to set priorities and goals
• Leads by strong work ethic and good attendance record
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills
• Can work independently

Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts M-F
• Available to workdays or nights and overtime
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
