Responsibilities

Revolution is now hiring for Production Operator positions in Kilgore, TX. This position works Monday - Friday, some Saturdays from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the product being produced is of good quality, following the guidelines set by the Quality Control Department.
• Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Troubleshoot and make repairs on any Converting Department production line, addressing machine problems or minor maintenance repairs.
• Have hand tools necessary for the job, following the operator’s tool list.
• Follow all housekeeping and good operating procedures as set by the American Institute of Baking.
• Change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment in a timely and safe manner.
• Work safely, prioritizing personal and co-workers' safety, and adhering to all company work rules and safety requirements.
• Complete all paperwork in accordance with company guidelines (including Setup sheets, Quality Control Sheets, and Production sheets).
• Assist packers to keep production lines running (including making boxes, stacking boxes, packing, and labeling products as needed).
• Help clean up and organize the Converting Department at the end of the shift for the oncoming shift, including loading machines with rolls of material, emptying trash cans, and organizing empty pallets.
• Collaborate with fellow operators to maintain high production standards with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Machinery experience.
• Good mechanical abilities.
• Math aptitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. constantly and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Occasionally push up to 100 lbs. and move up to 900 lbs. using a pallet jack.
• Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th.
• Willingness to work voluntary overtime (in excess of 40 hours per week) as needed.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to tolerate light smoke (on occasion) in the department.
