Job summary

A sustainable solutions provider is hiring a Production Operator in Kilgore, TX. This role involves following safety procedures, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring product quality. Ideal candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, machinery experience, and good mechanical abilities. The position offers competitive pay and benefits in a collaborative team culture. Expect to work Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays and mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/16th.
• Math aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all environmental health and safety policies.
• Ensure product meets quality guidelines.
• Keep workstations clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on production lines.
• Assist packers to maintain production lines.
• Follow housekeeping and SOPs as set by the company.
• Change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment safely.
• Work safely and follow company rules and safety requirements.
• Complete all paperwork (Setup sheets, Quality Control Sheets, Production sheets).
• Assist packers to keep lines running (boxing, labeling, packing).
• Clean up and organize the Converting Department at end of shift.

Overview

Revolution is now hiring for a Production Operator position in Kilgore, TX. This position works Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that product being produced meets quality guidelines set by the Quality Control Department.
• Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Be able to troubleshoot and perform repairs on Converting Department production lines (production machine problems or minor maintenance).
• Have hand tools to perform the job as outlined by the operator’s tool list.
• Follow all housekeeping and good operating procedures as set by the American Institute of Baking.
• Be able to change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment in a timely and safe manner.
• Work safely, prioritizing personal safety and that of fellow employees, and follow all company work rules and safety requirements.
• Complete all paperwork in accordance with company guidelines (including Setup sheets, Quality Control Sheets, and Production sheets).
• Work with and assist packers to keep production lines running (including making boxes, stacking boxes, packing and labeling product where needed).
• Help clean up and organize the Converting Department at the end of the shift for the on-coming shift (including ensuring machines are loaded with rolls, trash cans are empty, bags replaced, and pallets organized).
• Collaborate with fellow operators to keep the shift and department running at the highest standard with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Machinery experience.
• Good mechanical abilities.
• Math aptitude.
• Constantly lifts and carries up to 25 lbs. and frequently lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Occasionally pushes up to 100 lbs. and moves up to 900 lbs. using a pallet jack.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16th.
• Voluntary overtime (in excess of 40 hours per week) as needed.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours.
• Must be able to tolerate light smoke (on occasion) in the department.
