Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Production Operator in Kendallville, IN. You will run equipment that converts paperboard into consumer packaging and ensure quality, safety, and smooth production flow.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working 12-hour shifts with evenings and weekends. Overtime and training for material handling equipment are included.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and work 12-hour shifts.
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery.
• Willing and able to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust printing and gluing equipment.
• Load materials and monitor production flow.
• Inspect product for quality (color, clarity, accuracy).
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes (training provided).
• Complete computer data entry for orders and production tracking.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area on the production floor.

Location: Kendallville, IN

Pay: $25.70/hr + $1.65/hr shift premium

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts (6:30–6:30), 3‑2‑2 rotation, evenings & weekends required

What You’ll Do
