Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Centerline is currently seeking applicants for a Production Operator(floater) in the Diamond Polish and/or lapping department.

Vishay Centerline is located in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 employees in this machine shop operation and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position.

What You Will Be Doing

• Fill lamp oil and diamond paste tubes per process
• Cut card stock and prepare job travelers
• Read travelers and complete tasks as listed
• Cut fixtures with scroll saw
• Check the tables and machines regularly
• Measure pieces before, during and after processing
• Take table measurements and measure thickness of parts using micrometers and microscopes
• Load parts and run 1-2 machines at the same time
• Flip and rotate parts to ensure an even finish
• Determine the optimal run-time for each job based on specifications
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment in an orderly condition
• Follow prescribed safety regulations
  

What You Will Bring Along

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
• Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts
• Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
