Production Operator

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all legal and food safety standards.

Essential Functions

  • Manage daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
  • Complete quality and production reports hourly; perform visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods; report defects promptly.
  • Follow all safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Adhere to Niagara’s GMP and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all production areas and other assigned areas.
  • Ensure adequate raw materials are available to minimize downtime.
  • Work in all assigned production areas, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief duties as needed.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule or as needed.
