Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator I in Halls, TN to join a premier manufacturing client. The role starts at $19.50 per hour, with a 6pm–6am shift. You will operate and monitor production lines, perform general labor tasks, and abide by safety policies while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production or packaging line machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform general labor tasks such as loading/unloading materials and keeping the work area clean.
• Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE (steel-toe or composite-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Shift: 6pm – 6am

What’s a typical day as Production Operator I? You’ll be:

• Operating and monitoring production or packaging line machinery in a safe, efficient manner.
  
• Performing general labor duties including loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean work area.
  
• Following all safety policies and procedures and wearing required PPE (steel/composite toes, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
  
• Communicating with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met.
  
• Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns to the proper personnel.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have previous experience as a production operator, machine operator, or in general labor within a manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
  
• Are able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
  
• Can commit to working the 2nd Shift and overtime as needed.
  
• Are dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  
• Can wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.
