Job summary

USG is seeking a manufacturing operator to work in our production environment. You will operate production equipment, troubleshoot to ensure product quality, and record data as required. The role requires applying basic maintenance skills and actively participating in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

You must be adaptable to shift work, overtime, and weekend schedules where applicable, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Able to work in a manufacturing setting following all safety/housekeeping rules.
  • Learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Use basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Take measurements to verify product specs.

  • Work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

  • Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
