Job summary

Watershed-Foods in Gridley, IL is seeking Production Team members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will prepare raw materials, run production processes, and package finished products while performing quality checks to ensure only quality products are shipped.

Role requires adherence to GMPs, ability to work in hot and cold environments, and a detail-oriented, team-driven attitude. Shift differentials apply and shifts run 7:00am–3:30pm, 3:00pm–11:30pm, and 11:00pm–7:30am.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and complete production processes.
• Package finished products and inspect quality per SOPs.
• Maintain GMPs and Food Safety policies for a safe workplace.
• Record production data such as weights and temperatures.
• Assist teammates to complete tasks and improve efficiency.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning duties as needed.
• Dispose of waste materials and used packaging properly.
• Identify and report quality or safety concerns to leads.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Join our Production Team in Gridley, IL.

(1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings with shift pay differential)

1st 7:00am - 3:30pm

2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm (shift differential)

3rd 11:00pm -7:30am (shift differential)

Overall Responsibility

Prepare raw materials, complete production processes, package finished products, clean facilities and equipment and perform quality checks to assure that only quality products are shipped to customers.

Duties

• Complete work as assigned and outlined in the SOPs for any of the areas within our Production department: Depositing, Traying, Batch Drying, Continuous Drying, Puff Line, Packaging, and Front Line Lead. Use specific production equipment assigned to the specific department and position.
• Adhere to GMPs and Food Safety Policies and Occupational Safety Policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report Food Safety, Quality and Occupational Safety concerns area leads and to shift lead.
• Perform sanitation duties as needed.
• Perform Master Cleaning Schedule duties as needed
• Make process improvement suggestions.
• Properly dispose of waste material and used packaging supplies.
• Record quality and production data such as weights, lot numbers, metal detection, and temperature.
• Assist other employees as needed to complete tasks.
