Tenneco Powertrain (previously Federal-Mogul) has rewarding opportunities for Production Operators at our Greenville, MI facility! Production Operators may fill openings in any of our departments including Bearings, Bushings, Material Prep., Shipping & Receiving, and Quality. The general duties of our positions include but are not limited to the following:

1. Operating machinery and other industrial equipment to produce bearings, bushings, and washers for the automotive and heavy duty industries in a fast paced environment.
2. Responsible for producing quality parts.
3. Reading blueprints.
4. Use of gages.
5. Setting up and troubleshooting pieces of equipment in minimum time.
6. Use of computers to input and retrieve data.
7. Working in a team environment.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Position requirements and experience:

1. Ability to work any shift (1st 7a-3pm, 2nd 3p-11p, 3rd 11p-7a).
2. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
3. All shifts may require daily or weekend overtime (Saturday availability is a must!).
4. Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Pay and Benefits:

1. Competitive Wages! Employees have the ability to make up to $21.47/hour after 4 months of employment and up to $21.62/hour after 5 months of employment (Starting wage of $19.23). We also offer a 2% shift premium for 2nd shift workers and a 5% shift premium for 3rd shift workers over our base wages.
