Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow process sheets and instructions.

• Work around hot mold/press during loading/unloading prep/part.
• Visually inspect parts for defects; trim and package parts.
• Use pre-heating ovens; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Document actions and communicate irregularities across shifts.

What will your typical day look like?

Read, understand and follow process sheets and instructions. Use and operate measuring devices such as weigh scale, pyrometer, etc. Operates various material handling equipment such as overhead hoist, pallet jack, fork truck, hydraulic lift table, etc. Required to work around extremely hot mold/press when loading and unloading prep/part. Required to visually inspect parts for defects. Trim and Package parts. Use and operate pre‑heating ovens. Demonstrates safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Fosters continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Operators may use various tools such as knives and shears to trim parts.

What about the physical demands of the job?

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time. Employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is regularly required to wear safety glasses

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $20-25. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
