Key Responsibilities- Complete molding processes, which willinclude Antioch plaster, Air-set sand, and cold-box sand in combination with permanent and semi-permanent molds.
- Use powered hand tools to deburr, remove excess metal, and remove dirt/sand from product.
- Polish, file, and/or sand surfaces of metal parts utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines that will remove defects and smooth uneven surfaces.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements- 1+ years of production experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a foundry is helpful but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work involves physical demands, but not limited to prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- This role will require the use ofrespirator equipment.
- Abilityto use a wide variety of tools.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening (drug andbackground testing.)
- Works independently, followinginstructions, andwill need to be able to concentrate for long periods of time.
Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Night Shift:Monday-Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am
