Job summary

O-I Auburn plant in the Finger Lakes region is seeking a Production Operator to support our glass manufacturing process. You will gain exposure to multiple operations and contribute where needed to keep production flowing efficiently.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong safety mindset, and a desire to learn. Candidates must be 18+, capable of a 12-hour night shift, and able to lift 25 lbs; hourly wage starts at $25.60.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift, as well as holidays and weekends as required.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Understand carton quality requirements and perform checks to ensure those requirements are met.
• Attends palletizers, supplying pallets and tier sheets.
• Operates controls and insures that tiers are properly formed and transported.
• Rotate/transfer among departments as directed.

Job Description

The Production Operator Should Have

Hourly Wage: The hourly wage for this position is $25.60
