Job description

Job Title: Production Technician I

Location: Orangeburg, NY area

Hours / Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Type: 6 months + / Temp - Perm

Compensation:

• Less than or equal to 1 year of experience - $21 per hour
• 1 - 2 years of experience - $21 - $22 per hour
• 2 or more years of experience - $23 - $24 per hour
• 10% shift differential for 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain all production areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of facilities, wells, production equipment, and safety equipment.
• Ensure the continuous operation of production platforms.
• Maintain accurate production reports, test safety and environmental equipment, and document such activities.
• Possess basic machinery/system troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
• Understand planning and scheduling techniques related to asset care management.
• Maintain production standards and targets; identify areas for process improvement.
• Document production activities through forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
• Perform all duties safely, in accordance with company safety policies.
• Complete all records, reports, logs, and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain quality standards and production pace.
• Provide gloves and goggles as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on a production line.
• Experience working with Batch Records.
• Experience in GMP / FDA / ISO / SOP regulated environments.
