CHS is seeking a Production Technician in Annawan, IL to support the safe and efficient production of ethanol, corn oil, and distillers grains in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will monitor and operate processing equipment, perform inspections and quality checks, troubleshoot issues, conduct routine maintenance, and help ensure production targets are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. During the training period, employees work a standard 8 hr M-F schedule before transitioning to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule that alternates between days and nights, with built-in extended time off. This position includes a $1,500 sign‑on bonus paid out over 12 months.
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
