Hilton Foods in Huntingdon is seeking Production Operatives for the day shift to work on a production line and pack meat to specification.

The role involves checking meat cuts, packaging to display specifications, ensuring correct pack weight and rejecting items outside the defined parameters. The position operates on site with a 4 on/4 off schedule, 6am-6pm, and offers overtime and a range of employee benefits.

• Arranging meat in packaging, complying with display requirements set out in product specifications

• Rejecting any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of the parameters set out in the product specifications

Role title: Production Operative – Day Shift

Salary: £13.57 per hour

Shift/ Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm

Location: Hilton Foods, Huntingdon

About the role:

We are now looking for Production Operatives, for day shift, to work on a production line and pack meat in line with specification and always work in an efficient manner.

As a Production Operatives your role responsibilities will include:

• Checking the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications
• Arranging meat in packaging, complying with display requirements set out in product specifications
• Ensuring that the pack weight is correct and in line with specifications
• Rejecting any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of the parameters set out in the product specifications
