Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical college or college degree preferred.
• Forklift experience and ability to read a tape measure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey details to customers, coworkers, management.
• Ability to read invoices, procedure manuals, and job instructions.
• Basic math skills including decimals and proportions.
• Time management and multitasking.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes daily schedule with supervisor and quality control.
• Promotes safety awareness for all employees.
• Coordinates with necessary departments for parts to be built or cut and ensures daily time logs are accurate.
• Assures parts from warehouse are brought in a timely fashion.
• Parts are labeled, recorded, and stored for accurate assembly.
• Ensure hazardous materials containers are labeled and properly stored with staff.
• Dispose of hazardous waste per procedures and KDHE requirements.
• Coordinates schedule and fabrication with necessary departments.
• Performs quality control checks and solves daily problems for supervisors and QC.
• Meets with vendors, schedules machinery repairs, maintains inventory counts.
• Maintains safe, clean working environment and secures tools at end of day.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
