Job summary

OSI Group is seeking an experienced production operations leader to manage facility-level goals in quality, safety, efficiency, and customer requirements. The role requires directing a team of 1-5 employees, with responsibility for hiring, performance management, and coordinating with Operations, Quality, Safety, HR and Maintenance to meet facility objectives.

Expect routine plant environment work and 10% domestic travel.

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in the related field preferred.
Experience supervising food processing teams; protein focus preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication with all organizational levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Manage a team with hiring and performance management authority.
Lead 1-5 employees and indirectly up to 100 people.
Set department objectives for quality, safety, productivity, and cost.
Develop methods to monitor department activity and KPI attainment.
Provide reporting managers with training, guidance, and resources.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, products, and systems.
Work with current and potential customers during presentations, tours, and reviews.
Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures.
Coordinate across Operations, Quality, Safety, HR and Maintenance to meet objectives.
Follow safety procedures through education, training, and PPE usage.
