Skechers is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Data and Analytics team in a hybrid capacity in Southern California. You will build advanced analytics solutions, translate business problems into end-to-end ML solutions, and guide production-ready data science applications leveraging AI technologies.

Responsibilities include model development lifecycle, deploying scalable models, and collaborating with data engineers and business leads to deliver impactful insights across the organization.

Competenze

• Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in quantitative field (CS, Math, Physics) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a professional data science role with proven model-to-production track record.
• 5+ years in professional data science role with advanced analytics applications (preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with retail, supply chain, digital & financial analysis, predictive analytics, and BI visualization toolsets.
• Experience with DSML automation platforms and MLOps tools.
• Experience with DS/Cloud tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS SageMaker) and GenAI tools; ability to work with minimal oversight.

• End-to-end ML development: evaluate, implement, and improve ML techniques for business decisions.
• Contribute to full model development lifecycle from ideation to operation.
• Leverage LLMs and RAG frameworks to enhance data products and automate workflows.
• Write production-grade, maintainable code for experiments and proofs-of-concept.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data pipelines and deploy models.
• Monitor drift and bias to ensure ethical, accurate AI solutions in production.
• Lead experiments, A/B tests, and causal inference projects to measure impact.

• Perform ad hoc analyses to uncover patterns and opportunities across platforms.
