This role focuses on designing data pipelines and integrating AI/ML solutions across enterprise platforms, with an emphasis on productionizing models for airborne and ground operations. Under supervision, you will develop scalable tools for rapid training and edge inference, apply CI/CD and automation, and collaborate with domain experts to meet security and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in CS, IS or related field with progressive software development experience.
• Understanding of ML concepts, model development and analysis.
• Experience building end-to-end systems for productionizing AI/ML in distributed computing.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts in evolving environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and teamwork skills; capable of leading others.

Responsibilities

• Design data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support enterprise level operationalization
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to productionize models for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat operations
• Develop and deploy scalable tools and services for rapid training and inference at the edge
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability systems
• Apply robust software engineering best practices to ecosystem, including CI/CD, automation, etc.
• Support stable and repeatable model development, with an emphasis on traceability, version control, adversarial robustness and data security
• Help develop and deploy proof-of-concept machine learning systems to the warfighter
• Communicate with stakeholders to develop roadmaps and implementation schedules
