Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope is seeking a Production Middle Operator for 2nd shift to load trucks and containers, organize the warehouse, and follow shipping instructions.

You will operate material handling equipment, verify counts, enter data into SAP, and maintain 5S standards while handling packaging materials and potential hazardous materials under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Forklift experience and safety awareness essential.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with dusty indoor industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and containers per shipping instructions.
• Perform counts, labeling, and inspect finished goods.
• Move product within warehouse and load to equipment.
• Complete shipping paperwork and enter data into SAP.
• Receive deliveries and maintain 5S in assigned area.
• Maintain safety practices in a dusty environment.

About The Role

To load trucks and containers in accordance with shipping instructions and maintain the warehouse in an orderly and organized fashion. This is a 2nd shift position.

What You'll Accomplish

• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Perform piece counts, labeling and visual quality of finished goods.
• Move product from the warehouse and load onto specified equipment (trucks/container).
• Complete required shipping paperwork.
• Enter shipping data into SAP.
• Unload, receive and warehouse deliveries of production materials (packaging and facer).
• Maintain the 5S posture of assigned area.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to drive a forklift.

• Basic computer skills.
• The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
• Must be able to lift to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices.
• Ability to stand for extended period.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment as required.
• This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
