Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Forklift Operator for our Building Envelope operations in DeForest, Wisconsin. You will transport materials in a production setting, operate forklift equipment, and support efficient, safe movement of goods throughout the facility.

The role requires basic math and communication skills, ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols. 1st shift with a starting pay of $27.24/hr and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform piece counts, labeling, and inspect finished goods.
• Move production supplies from the warehouse to designated areas.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning).
• Adjust machine settings as needed.
• Identify damages and report shortages.
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Resolve issues that occur during the shift.
• Complete Production/Activity Logs.
• Track work in process and finished goods in the Warehouse.
• Maintain the 5S posture of the area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Forklift operator is responsible for transporting materials in a production setting in various locations of the facility in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Safely operate mobile equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform piece counts, labeling, and visual quality offinished goods.
• Move production supplies from the warehouse and load in specified designated areas.
• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.)
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Identify damages, and report any shortages.
• Test the operation ofmachines periodically.
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Complete Production/Activity Logs.
• Track/move work in process to/from various production areas and finished goods into the Warehouse.
• Maintain the 5S posture of the assigned area.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Working Conditions

The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturingand warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdooractivities in hot or adverse weather.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
• Ability to stand for extended period of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
• Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
