Job summary

Kindeva Drug Delivery in St. Louis is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, document work, and support spare parts fabrication.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a technical background, and 1+ years of related experience in electricity, industrial tech, welding, machine shop, HVAC or control systems. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree or technical school certification preferred.
• 1+ years related experience OR extensive generalist experience.
• Experience in Electricity Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, HVAC or Control Systems.
• Willing to work in a sterile environment requiring aseptic gowning.
• Pass a Standard Timing Model Assessment.
• Position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down and change over all production machinery as required.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Keep up-to-date records on maintenance per SOPs and work orders.
• Manufacture spare parts and machine parts as required.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
• Order spare or replacement parts as required.
• Maintain production areas, buildings and grounds mechanically and aesthetically.
• Work from sketches, mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Train departmental colleagues for cross-training and capability.
• Assist Project Engineers as directed.
• Observe all shop, equipment and production floor safety practices.
• Keep work area, tools and equipment clean, organized and professional.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order per SOPs and GMP guidelines; prepare documentation.
• Participate in process improvement activities.

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrated trouble shooting capability on production equipment to include all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Order spare, or replacement parts, as required.
• Maintain all production areas, buildings and roads and grounds mechanically and aesthetically.
• Be able to work from sketches, mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Train departmental colleagues to enhance departmental cross -training and capability for new or existing processing equipment.
• Assist Project Engineers, as directed.
• Observe all shop, equipment and production floor safety practices.
• Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and professional manner.
• Maintain all assigned equipment and/or facilities in good working order in accordance with SOP's and current Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines. Prepare/maintain appropriate documentation.
• Participate in process improvement activities

• Associate's degree or Graduate from an accredited and certified Technical School preferred
• 1+ years related experience OR extensive generalist experience.
• Must have experience in one of the following disciplines: Electricity Technologies
• Industrial Technology
• Welding
• Machine Shop
• HVAC and/or Control Systems.
• Must be willing to work in a sterile environment that requires aseptic gowning.
• All new external applicants will be required to pass a Standard Timing Model Assessment.
