Job summary

Selux Corporation in the Hudson Valley is seeking a Production Materials Specialist to keep manufacturing operations moving by ensuring production teams have the right materials when needed. This full-time, 1st shift role runs Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, and offers a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

You will locate and pull inventory, move materials, log transactions in the ERP, use RF scanners, and maintain organized, safe warehouse practices to prevent shortages and downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years hands-on warehouse/material-handling experience.
• Experience selecting and preparing materials to fulfill production needs.
• RF scanners experience preferred.

Overview

We'rd looking for a Production Materials Specialist to join our team.

This position plays an important part in keeping manufacturing operations moving by making sure production teams have the correct materials when and where they need them.

This is a full-time position, 1st shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm.

Minimum pay is $18.00 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull inventory based on production requirements and work orders
• Transport materials throughout the facility to support production needs
• Enter inventory movements and material transactions into the company’s ERP system
• Use scanning technology to document and track materials
• Replenish warehouse shelves and designated storage locations
• Keep inventory clearly labeled and stored in the proper locations
• Report missing or insufficient materials so shortages can be addressed
• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment
• Operate approved material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized

Qualifications

• Atleast 2 years of hands-on warehouse, picking, distribution, stockroom or similar material-handling experience
• Previous experience selecting and preparing materials or inventory to fulfill production needs
• Experience working with RF scanners preferred
