Job summary

BD USA NE - Columbus is seeking a Material Handler to support production by supplying and moving materials, handling raw and finished goods, and ensuring accurate data in SAP/MES systems. You will operate safely in a coordinate warehouse and participate in continuous improvement.

This on-site role requires reading and writing in English, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with adherence to BD safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS diploma/GED.
• Verbal/written communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with SAP/MES; forklift experience preferred.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw, in-process, or finished goods to/from the production area.
• Conduct SAP/MES transactions.
• Load correct materials into equipment and ensure proper supply.
• Recycle/remove waste as needed.
• Safely move materials and products around the plant.
• Transfer product in and out of Warehouse rack system.
• Cross-train on operations to support MES and production needs.
• Contribute to process continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.
