Job summary

NYX Inc. in Livonia, MI, seeks an Operations role focused on sustaining the supply of components, resins and packaging for efficient production. You will ensure finished production is accounted for, labeled, and stored, while supporting changeovers and quality checks.

Responsibilities include labeling, scanning, and packing, as well as maintaining 5S standards and reporting shortages or nearing-complete jobs to the Shift Plant Team Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of operator experience desirable.
• Competency in reading, writing and basic math.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Passing grade on Power Industrial Truck test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of components, resins and packaging and proper labeling.
• Assist setups by draining, cleaning and refilling resin hoppers/dryers during changeovers.
• Relabel, remove and store materials for next production to ensure clean transitions.
• Remove finished product, label, weigh and scan at CMS station; store properly.
• Print product barcode labels as necessary.
• Verify finished product leaving the cell is acceptable and properly packaged.
• Notify supervisor of shortages or near-completion jobs.
• Maintain 5S procedures for storage and handling of materials.
• Assist in other plant projects as required.
• Follow safety rules and report injuries.
